Currently pinned down by a just year old Horus having returned to bed, not quite giving in to sleep with one eye a mm ajar. Having been “MIAOWED” up early to feed him & leave the back door open as I have been trained to do. Being slightly annoyed on hearing further attacks to the hallway wallpaper & now muddy paw prints on the bedding. There may also be a small kill (so proud) to deal with downstairs when I am allowed to rise. I am so privileged to have these petty little worries because this gorgeous furry little being has given me his trust and I in turn have given him my unaffected love. The joy of a cat can be unfathomable as it is wonderful! Non-believers look on with incredulity at the seemingly masochist relationship with the little monsters. But we know BETTER! They are innocents and that is why there is such much pleasure in the bond with them as there is such heartbreak when they are suffering. I met Claw’d on two brief occasions- he even let me stroke him (very) briefly! From many stories passed on to me by George, he was by all accounts, all a cat could & should be (perhaps a little more) and you will love & miss forever & quite right so. CATS RULE! (Apologies Shackers)
